Who this template is for
This template is for applications where the stack is the first argument and the reader is technical themselves. Software, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure: a lead developer or a CTO skimming your resume is looking for technology names, versions and orders of magnitude. It is also a good signal for a speculative application to a startup, where the layout implicitly says you know the scene. For a technical role inside a very formal corporation, though, the corporate template is still what is expected.
How the layout is built
The header puts your name and the target role on a single line, separated by a vertical bar, the way a prompt would. The contact details are then laid out on a grid, each prefixed by a glyph that labels it: an at sign for the email, a hash for the phone, a tilde for the address, a chevron for LinkedIn, a slash for the website. The body follows in one column: summary, experience, education, skills, languages. Skills appear as tags, and the section headings are in Fira Code, the only monospace in the catalogue. The green touches nothing but the glyphs and the rules.
With or without a photo
No photo, which is the norm in the field: a developer resume with a portrait stands out awkwardly, particularly for international roles where a photo is actively discouraged. If you need one for a local application, Nordic keeps a close spirit and accepts it.
ATS readability
Two things are worth knowing. The glyphs in front of the contact details are text: they block nothing, but a parser may fold them into the field it extracts, which takes a second to fix in the form. The skill tags, on the other hand, really are text separated by spaces, so they are read one by one. Fira Code is a standard Google Font, with no exotic characters.
PDF and Word export
In PDF the monospace and the alignment of the contact grid are pixel-faithful. In DOCX this is the template that moves the most: if Fira Code is not installed on the recruiter’s machine, Word substitutes another monospace and the contact grid can slip by a column. For a technical application, send the PDF unless a DOCX is explicitly required.

All resume templates
Nordic
An airy DM Sans grid, small-caps section titles and a cool blue. Scandinavian in spirit: clear, calm, functional.

Minimal
Plenty of white space, body text in Inter and headings in EB Garamond. Nothing else: the layout steps back so the content can breathe.

Timeline
Experiences run down a vertical timeline: a date, a dot, an achievement. Career progression reads in three seconds.
