By accessing and using Jobtae, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our service.
Part I — Terms of Use
1. Service Description
Jobtae is a platform that allows you to create customized CVs based on your professional background. The service generates CVs tailored to the job offers you are targeting.
2. Eligibility
To use Jobtae, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid account
- Not be a resident of a country subject to sanctions
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- All activities performed under your account
- Immediately informing us of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Not use the service for illegal purposes
- Not attempt to compromise the security of the service
- Not copy or reproduce the software
- Not submit false documents
- Not generate content intended to mislead a recruiter about your identity or actual professional background
5. Intellectual Property
The content and technology of Jobtae are protected by intellectual property rights. You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant us a license to use it in connection with the service.
6. AI-Generated Content
Jobtae uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate your CV content. To that end, the professional data you enter is transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of delivering the service. Jobtae is configured to ensure that your prompts and responses are never used by AI providers to train their models. The list of AI sub-processors is available in our privacy policy.
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or inappropriate phrasing. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating the content before sending it to any recruiter or employer. Jobtae shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from using generated content without prior verification.
Part II — Terms of Sale
7. Offers & Pricing
Available offers and their prices are presented on the platform's pricing page. Jobtae reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Prices are displayed in euros, inclusive of all applicable taxes.
8. Subscriptions
8.1 Sign-Up
You may subscribe to a monthly plan. The subscription is activated upon payment confirmation.
8.2 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
8.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your personal account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no pro-rata refund is issued. Until that date, you retain full access to your account and may download your CVs. Upon expiry, paid features are disabled but your data remains accessible in read-only mode until you delete your account.
9. Payment
Payment is processed online through our secure payment provider (Stripe). Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Jobtae does not store any payment card data.
10. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content provided immediately upon payment confirmation, where you have expressly waived this right.
For subscriptions, you have 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal, provided no CV has been generated on your account since the subscription date. To exercise this right, send an email to support@jobtae.com stating your name and account email address. The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method as the one used at the time of subscription.
11. Refunds
Outside of the statutory right of withdrawal, Jobtae does not issue refunds for unused portions of current subscription periods. In the event of a verified platform malfunction attributable to Jobtae, a credit or refund may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
12. Service Availability
Jobtae is committed to taking all necessary measures to ensure the best possible availability of the platform. Interruptions may occur for maintenance operations or technical reasons beyond our control. Such interruptions do not entitle you to a refund.
Part III — General Provisions
13. Liability
Jobtae is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or continuously available. Jobtae's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months. Jobtae is not liable for indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of opportunity or data.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account in case of violation of these terms. In the event of a serious violation (fraud, security breach, identity theft), suspension may take place immediately and without notice. For any other violation, we will send a formal notice by email, and termination will only be enacted if the issue is not remedied within a reasonable period.
15. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, you are invited to contact our customer service at support@jobtae.com. If no amicable resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute may be submitted to a competent consumer mediator.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers under the law of their country of residence within the European Union.
17. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Minor modifications (corrections, clarifications) take effect upon publication. Substantial modifications (pricing, user rights, liability) will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. If you do not accept the modification, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
