Who this template is for
Bring this template out when you are going for a high-visibility role and the first glance has to land. Sales, sales leadership, communications, sports: fields where you are expected to know how to sell yourself, and where a timid resume works against you. It works especially well when you have a name to make memorable, a fiercely contested opening, or a networking meeting where the resume will sit on a table among others. For an institutional application, prefer the corporate.
How the layout is built
Your name takes the top of the page in very heavy Montserrat, at a size you will not find on any other template in the catalogue. The target role follows as a counterpoint, then a row of contact details on a single line. Sections are numbered 01, 02, 03, with the number part of the heading itself and a red rule running the full width of the page. Experience entries keep a legible structure: role on the left and dates on the right, company and location as a subtitle, achievements as short bullets.
With or without a photo
No photo: the name already plays the portrait’s role and occupies the space it would have taken. Adding a face under type of that size would produce an overloaded header. For an assertive resume with a photo, Modern with a vivid accent is the closest alternative.
ATS readability
The size of the name is only a typographic attribute: a parser reads a line of text, not a logo. The section numbers here sit inside the heading, unlike the creative template where they are separate; in practice tools recognise “01 Experience” as the Experience section, but if the posting runs through a very strict submission form, the classic stays more predictable.
PDF and Word export
In PDF the full-width red and the oversized type come out exactly as on screen, and black-and-white printing turns the red into a still-legible dark grey. In DOCX the oversized type is preserved but may wrap onto two lines if your name is long; the full-width rules become paragraph borders, rendered slightly thinner.

All resume templates
Creative
Numbered sections, rounded Nunito shapes and a confident purple holding the page together. It stands out of the pile without giving up legibility.

Modern
A two-column header with a photo, a midnight-blue accent and Raleway throughout. Contemporary without being loud.

Executive
A dark sidebar gathers the photo, contact details and skills while the main column lays out achievements. EB Garamond headings set the measured tone expected at this level.
