## What counts against your quota, and what doesn't
Only one unit is metered: the application. Everything else is free to redo.
- **Applications**
- An application is one job offer analysed, with its tailored resume and cover letter. It is the only metered unit: 3 on Free, 20 on Basic, 100 on Pro.
- **Regenerating is free**
- Editing the wording, re-running an AI generation or switching template on an existing application costs nothing. Iterate on the same offer as much as you need.
- **Exports**
- The Free plan is capped at 10 PDF exports. Basic and Pro give unlimited PDF exports, and Pro adds DOCX export so you can fine-tune the resume in Word.
- **A rolling 30-day window**
- Counters roll: an application created more than 30 days ago no longer weighs on your quota. There is no fixed reset date, so nothing is lost if you sign up at the end of a month.
## Cancelling and switching plans
- No minimum term. You cancel from your account in one click, without having to email us.
- After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing else is charged.
- Your applications, career story and resumes stay accessible: you simply fall back to the Free plan limits.
- Switch plans whenever you like. When upgrading, the unused days on your current plan are automatically prorated.
## Pricing questions
**Do I need a credit card to try Jobtae? **
No. The Free plan gives you 3 complete applications, tailored resume and cover letter included, without any payment details.
**What happens when I hit my application limit? **
Your existing applications stay accessible, editable and exportable. You simply cannot create a new one until the rolling 30-day window frees up quota, or until you move to a higher plan.
**Can I cancel at any time? **
Yes, with no commitment and no cancellation fee. You cancel from your account settings and keep access to your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
**What is the difference between Basic and Pro? **
Basic covers an active job search with 20 applications a month, the premium resume templates and the skills gap analysis. Pro raises that to 100 applications a month and adds DOCX export, useful if you fine-tune resumes in Word or apply in volume.
**Are there hidden fees, or an annual plan? **
No hidden fees: the price shown is what is charged every month, taxes included. There is no annual plan for now, since a job search rarely lasts twelve months.
